Well since Wild Card Palin has been added to the mix, I am feeling like I need to work for Obama for the next 8 weeks. If she is elected VP it's highly likely she will become President due to the likelyhood McCain won't live another 4 years. She would never approve of our agenda. I see getting Barack elected President as even more crucial than it was before she was added to the opposition.

So at this point, I have to head back east to help in PA, OH or MI depending on where they need me most. I'll be back after November 4th.

Dear FutureMedia,

We absolutely want to bring you down for this kind of project. This was a very quick trip - about 2 hrs. total, just to get the "lay of the land." The next step is to do the research for the costs, etc., and then we'll be going down there to do the actual project. I'd like to use your services for that part of the process, when there will be a lot more to shoot and a lot more activity going on.

I'm anticipating that's still a few weeks off, but I'll definitely keep you posted.

Thanks again for your willingness to help on this project; I know your skills will be very much needed in the near future.

Very cool! I will see what we can do to arrange that. It would be awesome to have your help with the videography. I'll stay in touch with you and I'll let you know the schedule as soon as we meet with the community president (early September). Talk to you soon!

I'd love to come down and help document the plan and execution in HD if you need that kind of help. I have a mobile Mac for editing and posting the vid to the web. Do you have a place for me to stay if I come down to help that way and any other ways you need me to do with y'all?

Dear Futuremedia,
Thanks for asking about volunteering labor rather than donations. We'll need volunteers for sure. I see you're in Santa Cruz (cool – I graduated from UCSC!). Of course you're welcome to come down for the Tijuana project, though I know it would be a haul from Santa Cruz. We'll be getting started on the project mid-September – we're meeting with the community leaders for a planning session on the 3rd of September, and then we'll know more. Please stay in touch!
