Together We Can Power The World

Quality of Life Around The World Through Renewable Energy

Dear members,

I just wanted to take a moment to update you on our progress. We're working on finalizing our choice of communities for our renewable energy project in Tijuana, Baja California. We had a great meeting this week with the publisher of La Prensa, a major Spanish-language newspaper in San Diego and Baja, who had some great suggestions. We expect the location to be finalized within the next several days. Next step will be bringing in our engineers to review the location and create the plans needed. I'll keep you posted as this rolls forward. Thanks again to all who have participated, shared and donated. Let's get this done!

Sincerely,
Harley Orion

I live in Douglas AZ across from Agua Preita.

Many people there live without power because of the high cost of basic service.
A few have solar but the rent paid per sq foot is higher than Douglas.

There are many blocks of cleared land and no new adobe construction.

The area is in the middle of a long drought and ranches have trouble
watering their stock.

People live by buying food at Walmart on this side.

Drug lords control the town and block improvements.
